It's another look into the life of host Adam Brooks as he talks with his oldest friend, Marc Ramos. Marc and Adam met at the age of 5 and lived across the street from each other for most of their lives before adulthood. The two talk about the special bond they shared and work through some of the things that came between them.

It's a special thing to have a best friend growing up. That one friend you know will have your back. Marc Ramos was that friend for me. I never envied anyone when I was a kid. The neighborhood Marc and I grew up in was a one of a kind place that was the best of two worlds. We lived in the city so there were lots of other kids to get into trouble with, but it was right on the edge of town so there was lots of room and woods to make that trouble in. We were inseparable until I moved out of the neighborhood and into a different school district, but I'll leave the details for the podcast.

This is a really special episode for me. Marc and I have been friends for 26 years. He is by far my oldest friend. We started kindergarten together and grew up on the same street. We started a fake flying car company together, we burned down a section of the woods behind my house, and we talked about girls and music and life in the branches of a tree in the same woods. We started our first band together, we graduated from high school and then, everything kind of fell apart. And it was my fault. We get into that in this episode.
