Hogan Gidley was recently named National Press Secretary for the Trump Campaign, having formerly served in the White House as Deputy Assistant to the President and Principal Deputy Press Secretary for President Donald Trump. For more than two decades, Gidley has worked in top communication positions in business as a political consultant and strategist, a political commentator, and on local and national political campaigns – including for Governor Mike Huckabee, Senator Rick Santorum and Senator Elizabeth Dole. He served as the Executive Director of the South Carolina Republican Party in 2008, and before that he worked as a television news anchor and reporter on various local television stations.
