Trailblazing the way for TV technology, Terry Marsh has had a 40 year career serving as Head of BBC Schools, Vice President for European Programming at the SyFy Channel and as Executive Director of the WISE Campaign, promoting more women in STEM careers. Terry talks about why she initially turned down the BBC, and how the MeToo movement is so embedded in the media industry that it leads to a culture of sexual assault still feeling like the victim’s fault. Terry and I get down to the bones of the patriarchy, why women are still seen as objects and how the anti-feminist movement gaslights people into thinking that their problems aren’t worth talking about. There’s a lot to chew on in this hard-hitting yet supercharged episode, so kick back, and get empowered.
