Douglas Batchelor is host of the phenomenal What Magic Is This? Podcast, an invaluable auditory resource on all things magical and metaphysical. I’ve enjoyed the podcast and its absolutely disparate execution from Pragmagick’s as Doug constructs a wholly topic-based chat with a hitherto uninformed guest. It’s brimful of information, heavily researched and all around wonderfully broadcasted by Doug and his intimate knowledge of the topics at hand.

It’s always refreshing to diverge from my personal praxis to delve deeper in another’s – and Douglas is no metaphysical slouch! While we share similar beginnings, we wonderfully diverge into disparate paths. Douglas is a passionate grimoire magician, allowing his servitors to intersect with deeply historical currents such as the Greek Magical Papyri. We both share our love for Robert Anton Wilson, DisinfoNation, and using magickal recipes to create a potpourri of personal praxis. While this was our first face-to-face, I highly doubt it will be our last!
