FIRST SERVICE THEME: VICTORY OVER EVIL COVENANT TEXT: Mathew 22:25-27 WHAT IS VICTORY? ~ Victory is being a winner in the face of battle. ~ Victory is winning despite the opposition. ~ Victory is triumphing over the plans and schemes of the devil ( Exodus 15:1). ~ Victory is a gift from God to every believer through Jesus Christ ( 1 Corinthians 15:57). ~ Victory is our birthright which can only be claimed by our faith in God. WHAT IS EVIL COVENANT? Covenant is an agreement or working cooperation between two or more entities. For every covenant working there are persons servicing that covenant. ~ Evil covenants can be done on behalf of others ( Matthew 26:25). ~ Evil covenants are words working against a person from their foundation ( 2 Corinthians 4:9-10). EFFECTS OF EVIL COVENANTS ~ It makes you suffer what people suffered without complaining ( Matthew 22:25) ~ It makes you obey traditions foolishly without asking questions. ~ Evil covenants destroy life effortlessly. ~ Evil covenants do not stop until it accomplishes its purpose. SIGNS THAT GOD REVEALS CONCERNING EVIL COVENANT ~ Repeated Evil patterns in our families. ~ Living in fear ~ Revelation in dreams and vision. ~ Try to break from the covenant but to no avail. WAYS TO OVERCOME EVIL COVENANT ~ Knowledge of your family affairs ( Hosea 4:6) ~ Knowledge of the truth of the word of God ( John 8:32, 1 John 2:14) # Nobody can be free from Evil covenants except through the power of God. # only the word that abide in you that can give you Victory ( Psalm 119:130). # There can be no true Victory if you don't surrender your life to Christ (1 John 4:4).
