Gurney flaps have a massively positive effect on an airfoil's lift. And they are seen on many airplanes. There is also a new type of vortex generator, but it is more like tubercles, being investigated. So, there is a chance that both of these flow control devices will end upon the same wing. Do they work well together? How do they affect the aerodynamics of the airfoil? Find out here!
