(Chad Brekke) Professional mountain climbers know that the quickest and most effective cure for altitude sickness is to get back down the mountain as soon as possible. Why are people willing to risk so much to get to high places in the first place? At least the view from Mt Transfiguration can help us see how the past connects with the future, but we can’t stay at that altitude for long.
