This is the kickoff message of PCF's Fall FNF series "Jesus Discovered."
In this message, Chris Sallade talks about Jesus as Teacher and how that shapes our response as his students.
"Jesus got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat." - Luke 5:3
“Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” (John 3:2)
“In that hour Jesus said to the crowd, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me.” (Matthew 26:55)
“The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.” -Luke 6:40
"[To those] who had believed Jesus, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” - John 8:31-32
"For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say." - John 12: 49
