Anson Resources Ltd (ASX:ASN, OTCQB:ANSNF) executive chairman and CEO Bruce Richardson sits down with Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss the company’s coming collaboration with Koch Technology Solutions (KTS) to commission a Li-Pro™ lithium selective sorption (LSS) pilot unit at the Green River Lithium Project in Utah, USA. The pilot unit, scheduled to begin production next month, will provide essential data for a potential full-scale Li-Pro™ unit. The pilot project is jointly funded by Anson Resources and KTS, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, under a cost-sharing framework involving a KTS investment via a convertible note. KTS completed a treatability study in May 2024 using Green River brine, showing superior results in lithium recovery and element rejection compared to Anson's definitive feasibility study. The pilot unit will operate continuously for two to four months, processing fresh brine from the Bosydaba#1 well into lithium chloride for potential battery-grade lithium carbonate production. This unit supplements Anson’s existing sample demonstration plant at Green River. Concurrent testing of two direct lithium extraction technologies will be conducted using brine from Bosydaba#1. Richardson highlighted the project's acceleration and reduced risk due to KTS’s advanced technology. KTS commercial director Martin Rizo emphasised the potential of Green River to become a key US domestic battery-grade lithium carbonate project. The KTS Li-Pro™ process is already operational in North America, including a commercial-scale plant in Arkansas. #ProactiveInvestors #AnsonResources #ASX #OTCQB #KochTechnologySolutions #LithiumExtraction #GreenRiverProject #LiPro #LithiumSorption #PilotUnit #BatteryGradeLithium #USLithiumSupply #LithiumCarbonate #BosydabaWell #DLETechnology #CommercialProduction #TreatabilityStudy #LithiumRecovery #Capex #Opex #EnvironmentalCredentials #DomesticSupply #BatteryMaterials #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
