Antipa Minerals Ltd (ASX:AZY) managing director Roger Mason joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss positive final results from its 2024 Phase 1 reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Minyari Dome Gold-Copper Project in Western Australia. The program, initially set for 74 drill holes, expanded to 81 due to favourable early outcomes. Drilling unveiled new zones of near-surface, high-grade gold, especially at the northern edge of the GEO-01 discovery, the GP01 target, and the Minyari Southeastern Extension target. The GEO-01 discovery now has a mineralised footprint of 700 metres by 500 metres, with key intersections indicating substantial resource potential. Results suggest extensive potential for a maiden resource, with mineralisation at multiple GEO-01 lodes and the Minyari Southeast Extension target remaining open. Antipa plans to explore these areas further in the 2024 Phase 2 drilling program to enhance the 1.8-million-ounce gold resource at Minyari Dome, aiming for significant resource expansion. Managing director Roger Mason highlighted the successful identification of new gold zones, enhancing the resource potential and generating new drill targets. An updated resource for Minyari and a GEO-1 maiden resource are scheduled for July 2024, with Phase 2 drilling set to commence later this year. #ProactiveInvestors #ASX #AntipaMinerals #GoldExploration #CopperProject #MiningNews #MinyariDome #HighGradeGold #ResourceExpansion #DrillingResults #GeologicalDiscovery #ASX #WesternAustraliaMining #GoldMining #CopperMining #ExplorationSuccess #Mineralisation #ResourceUpdate #Phase2Drilling #MiningIndustry #GoldCopperProject #InvestmentOpportunity #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
