Astral Resources NL (ASX:AAR) managing director Marc Ducler sits down with Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to discuss what could be the company’s most successful drilling campaign to date. Astral has received the first 23 assay results from its 26-hole reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Kamperman Prospect, part of its Feysville Gold Project near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The results demonstrate continuity of gold mineralisation along 450 metres of strike at the prospect, which remains open to the north and east. Ducler said the program could be the most successful to date at Kamperman, confirming geological interpretations and identifying a broad 30-metre-wide zone of consistent +2g/t gold mineralisation in the southern zone. A mineral resource estimate is underway for Kamperman, with similar work at Rogan Josh and Think Big being finalised. Attention is shifting to the Theia Deposit at the Mandilla Gold Project, with a 6,000-metre in-fill RC drilling phase starting next week. After this, Astral will return to Feysville to follow up on significant gold anomalies to the north-west of Kamperman. The Feysville Gold Project is situated within the Norseman-Wiluna Greenstone Belt and hosts significant gold and nickel mineralisation. It includes an existing mineral resource estimate of 3 million tonnes at 1.3g/t gold for 116,000 ounces at the Think Big deposit, potentially serving as satellite ore feed for the Mandilla Gold Project. In-fill drilling results at Kamperman support a high-grade west-dipping gold zone extending over 450 metres of strike, with mineralisation open to the north and east. Assay results include notable intersections such as 38 metres at 2.12g/t Au and 19 metres at 3.32g/t Au, among others. These results will underpin a maiden MRE for Kamperman, expected to be completed in the September quarter. #ProactiveInvestors #ASX #AstralResources #KampermanProspect #FeysvilleGoldProject #Kalgoorlie #GoldMineralisation #RCDrilling #GeologicalInterpretation #MandillaGoldProject #TheiaDeposit #NorsemanWilunaBelt #KambaldaDomain #YilgarnCraton #GoldenMile #SuperPit #NorthernStarResources #GoldFields #ThinkBigDeposit #MineralResourceEstimate #HighGradeGold #SatelliteOreFeed #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
