Immunic Inc chief scientific officer Hella Kohlhof discusses multiple sclerosis (MS), its development, origin, and current treatments with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion to mark World Brain Day on July 22. Kohlhof explained that MS is a chronic and unpredictable disease of the central nervous system, affecting the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerve, leading to various severe symptoms. Additionally, the phase 2 CALLIPER study in progressive MS is fully recruited, with top-line data expected in 2025.
