Lightning Minerals CEO Alex Biggs joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share exciting news about the company's recent site visit to the Caraíbas and Sidrônio lithium projects in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and the completion of phase one reconnaissance works. This site visit was attended by Lightning Minerals representatives and local contract geologists who possess considerable experience with lithium in the region. Biggs highlighted that the site visit yielded positive indications, including the verification of previously identified outcropping pegmatites containing lithium-bearing minerals within artisanal workings at the Caraíbas project. Additionally, numerous pegmatite showings were observed across both the Caraíbas and Sidrônio project areas, suggesting the presence of pervasive hydrothermal activity. These findings reinforce the potential for significant lithium mineralization in these areas. Looking ahead, Biggs outlined the next steps, which could include a focused geological mapping and sampling program lasting three to five days. This program would encompass stream sediment sampling and outcrop geology mapping campaigns as part of a broader regional exploration exercise. These strategies are designed to be fast, effective, and low-cost, allowing the company to gather crucial data efficiently. Furthermore, Lightning Minerals is considering soil sampling programs and leveraging geophysics datasets that display features resembling those of nearby spodumene-rich pegmatite deposits. The company plans to utilize drone technology for these surveys, significantly reducing costs compared to traditional helicopter-based survey work. In other news, Lightning Minerals announced the commencement of a focused auger sampling campaign at its Mailman Hill gold project in Western Australia. This auger campaign aims to identify drill targets that may extend Cavalier Resource’s Crawford Gold Project. The Mailman Hill asset, which was part of the company's IPO on the ASX in November 2022, has shown promising gold potential following an in-depth data review. While Lightning Minerals remains focused on its lithium projects in Australia, Brazil, and Canada, it recognizes the importance of evaluating all its projects and completing appropriate exploration works. Biggs emphasized the company's excitement about the prospects at Mailman Hill, highlighting its potential to contribute significantly to Lightning Minerals' asset portfolio. The company's strategic approach to exploration and development ensures that each project is thoroughly assessed and advanced based on its unique merits and potential. #proactiveinvestors #asx #l1m #lightningminerals #mining #AlexBiggs, #LithiumExploration, #BrazilMining, #LithiumValley, #CaribasProject, #DroneYarnProject, #Mapping, #Geophysics, #SoilSampling, #DrillTargets, #MountainHillGold, #WesternAustralia, #AugerProgram, #Kalgoorlie, #CriticalMinerals, #IPO2022, #MiningIndustry, #LocalKnowledge, #ResourceExploration #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
