Lunnon Metals hits high-grade gold at Kambalda’s Lady Herial and Plentiful prospects

Lunnon Metals Ltd (ASX:LM8) has reported high-grade gold discoveries at the Lady Herial and Plentiful prospects within the Foster-Baker (FBA) project area, part of the Kambalda Nickel Project in Western Australia. The company conducted diamond and reverse circulation (RC) drilling at these prospects, which are among its high-priority gold exploration targets. Assays revealed near-surface, gently dipping quartz vein structures at Lady Herial, with notable results including 3 metres at 14.8 g/t gold from 15 metres. At Plentiful, a 50-metre strike zone of gold mineralisation was identified, with significant results such as 3 metres at 2.59 g/t gold from 49 metres and 11.8 metres at 1.43 g/t from 117.6 metres, including 0.9 metres at 5.72 g/t. Managing director Edmund Ainscough highlighted the success of the company’s gold-focused drilling programs, emphasising the potential for a low-cost approach to near-surface gold exploration, especially given the current high gold prices in Australian dollar terms.
