Nexus Minerals fields positive Crusader-Templar results, supports low-risk mining

Nexus Minerals Ltd (ASX: NXM) managing director Andy Tudor sits down with Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the latest results from diamond drilling at Crusader-Templar Gold Deposit within the Wallbrook Gold Project, northeast of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The program consisted of 13 holes totalling 1,473 metres and was designed to complement ongoing mine studies. The assays confirmed shallow, high-grade mineralisation, boosting confidence in the deposit’s interpretation. Significant results include: 1.7 metres at 23.50 g/t gold within 11 metres at 4.04 g/t from 24 metres; 5.1 metres at 4.58 g/t within 14 metres at 2.38 g/t from 24 metres; and 3.3 metres at 5.10 g/t within 9.4 metres at 2.03 g/t from 51.8 metres. In addition to the assays, Nexus completed metallurgical, geotechnical, waste rock characterisation and water monitoring studies, supporting a low-risk open pit mining operation. These findings will contribute to an updated scoping study, further de-risking the project. Nexus is also working with contractors to refine cost estimates and operational strategies.
