Touchstone Exploration Inc (AIM:TXP, TSX:TXP, OTC:PBEGF)CEO Paul Baay talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the latest developments at the Cascadura Field. Baay highlighted two key takeaways from the company's recent well testing: the positive results from two wells, including a gas discovery in previously unbooked reserves and a significant oil test at deeper levels. Baay expressed excitement about the potential for further exploration, particularly in new areas east of the fault-C, which has opened up new opportunities for the company. "We've proven that the eastern side of the fault holds reserves, which sets up a brand-new pool for us," Baay stated, emphasising the importance of 3D seismic data in identifying these opportunities. Additionally, Baay mentioned that production from the wells could begin as soon as October 17th, depending on final tie-in procedures. Touchstone also faced disappointment with the failed acquisition of Trinity, but Baay noted that the results from the new wells may have an even greater impact on the company's future.
