Prodigal Jimmy is a novel about the Prodigal Son. The surprise of the book is from the fresh way this familiar story is presented. The four parts of life—Childhood and Youth and Maturity and Age—are divided. Then they match, Childhood with Taking, Youth with Wasting, Maturity with Working, Age with Reconciliation. The simplicity of the concept enabled the book to be written with great artistry, because everyone has ideas about Childhood for example, but not meeting expectations is the art of fiction.
