The 25th Anniversary of the Stalin Society, held in December 2016, hears a presentation on Trotskyism or Leninism. The Stalin Society was formed in 1991 to combat the revisionist and counter-revolutionary lies spread by bourgeois agents throughout media, education, and sections of the so-called left Only by upholding the achievements of the Soviet revolution and the peoples of the USSR can we strive for a socialist future. This anniversary meeting revisited a classic yet important question, Trotskyism or Leninism? Exploring the historical basis for the distinction, Trotsky’s role in the revolutionary movement, and the effects of Trotskyism on the international socialist cause.
