As Black History Month draws to a close, revisit our conversation with Judge Melissa DuBose ’90, a product of Providence in every sense.
She grew up in the Mount Hope section of Providence, R.I., before attending Providence College. She taught history in Providence Public Schools before turning to a career in law. She is an associate judge on the Rhode Island District Court, a member of Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Foundation, and a National Alumni Association award recipient.
