In this episode, originally recorded in May 2019, Rachel and Elena discuss Rachel's work as a legal advocate for survivors of domestic violence and her plans to become an attorney. Today, Rachel has just finished her second year of law school at Seattle University and begun a summer internship with the ACLU of Washington. Rachel says that law school has been really rigorous and challenging, that she’s had some spectacular professors at SU, and that she has grown a lot in her understanding of how the law and lawyering can be used to cultivate a more just and equitable world.
