An unprecedented pause to the season has allowed Paris Saint-Germain supporters to evaluate the squad's first-half performance and look ahead to what is expected to be an unpredictable FIFA World Cup.

On this episode of PSG Talking, I'm joined by Ethan, the president of PSG Fan Club Boise, to discuss the club's unbeaten run to start the season and talk a little World Cup.

Up first, it's PSG who holds a comfortable lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table, but was unlucky to finish second behind SL Benfica in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. We debate who PSG's best player has been and call out a few players who have been far from their best.

There's also been plenty of drama with PSG this season. We give our thoughts on penaltygate that took place early in the season and the news that Kylian Mbappé apparently wants to leave as soon as possible.

We wrap up our PSG discussion by predicting how far Christophe Galtier can lead PSG in the Champions League. Can he navigate PSG past FC Bayern Munich in the Round of 16 and potentially reach the final?

The second half of the podcast is all about the World Cup. All eyes will be on Brazil's Neymar Jr. and Argentina's Lionel Messi and we predict which PSG superstar will lead his team to the final. We also comment on the fact that Mbappé is the only PSG player on France's squad following Presnel Kimpembe's unfortunate departure due to injury.

We conclude the show by picking our surprises for the tournament and whether Qatar will sell Paris Saint-Germain after the World Cup.
