Indeed, we live in interesting times! But, have you considered that maybe our contemporary world is not an ‘apocalyptic’ nightmare? Regardless of failure in policy, theory, and practice, we are far from being defeated as a civilization. Such decisions of policy are expedient, as the mishaps of the world are indeed expected to play out miserably before they are worked out to the Queen’s taste. But let us retrospectively consider our historic footsteps to this zenith of so-called collapse and ruin before digging out a bunker and calling it all quits.

Prior to our arrival in the mid 1900’s our ancestors worked a 14-16hr/ 7day laboring shift. Certainly, this was great for the big business owners, but not so great for the majority. The underlying notion of making America great is not wrong, but perhaps misconstrued. What I intend to point out is that we are not making America great ‘again’, but rather making America better than ever!

England likewise suffered the same drab lifestyle during the period of the world war, and prior to. During the Great Depression there were cuts in the number of hours of labor; However, this temporary reprieve from near slave labor was relative to unprecedented levels of unemployment. The return to long hours of work returned after the setback.

The point of the matter here is that we live in a better world. Today. And it is going to be amazingly better as we continue to learn, discover, build, and explore new potential for man’s relationship to his peers… to mother nature… and man’s machines.
