In this second episode of Season 1, we explore the often referenced but rarely understood diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Michael interviews Elana Newman, PhD, one of the clinical psychology faculty members at the University of Tulsa, and an expert in the field of trauma. Elana has literally spanned the globe presenting to and consulting with professionals of every ilk on PTSD, trauma, the concept of secondary trauma, and research around effective treatments of trauma. If you want to know more about Elana, you can find more information here on her bio page at the University of Tulsa.
