I have a vast musical spectrum that I love. I love mixing genres tempos etc ( MIXIN' It UP!!).
all of these tracks are derivatives of R&B ... I was just playin' with Ideas on my phone & trailing new software - as it is a protomix... You'll all be glad to here that I have added alot more to this playlist. I thught it was a novel idea and was a bunch of fun. The intent was to start with house then drag the tempo n vibes down to so good ol' Mississippi Delta Grime then wprk the tempo back up. ** In this edit I simply removed the first section as it isa much smoother ride starting here. For me (being the music nerd that I am) I spend my time challenging myself with my mixing ..... some times I will only limit myself by tempo orKey .... in this very rough mix you will hear me playing around with Key and having a play ..... I also being a drummer & studyung percusson am interested in creating well crafted Polyrhythms ... yu will here soem times its out and messy ... that the experimentation aspect and I am already coming up with ideas. Modern music is al based o te back beat of the 2 & The 4...... A good DJ is how one recoveres from a curveball situation (Managng the clash of noise in the spectrum of sound to still be pallettable !) ... its a work in progress but parts of ths mix are GREAT !!
