Hi Everyone, From now on I'm going to share more background information about my sets. Why? Because every set has a story and soundtrack of its own. Last Friday was an intense day, working, studying, and doing my chores and I replaced the wiper engine of my car which was very hard because it was my first time. As they say time flies, and it was already 8 PM and in two hours I had to be at the studio, no pressure 😛 I opened up my laptop and started to check my promos and emails from the labels/artists I love. It was hard to find tracks that fit my ideology, every week is different with ups and downs quality-wise in what you will find. I had to put more effort and it was already 20:45 and I started to sweat like crazy but somehow I managed. When I opened up my backpack my USB case was at my girlfriend's since I was at my parent's house on the balcony and I started to freak out. I ran upstairs and I found a 2TB SSD but I did not have the correct cable with me, my stress level increased, and asking myself how can I possibly solve this. I did not give up and I found an old USB where I remember that it went in the washing machine because I forgot to empty my pockets, it was condensed and rusty. I ran downstairs and before plugin it into my laptop I said please work, it took some time but the USB was loaded. Was checking which files were on it and it was a bootable USB running on Windows 10, I formatted and renamed the USB. I put my downloaded tracks through Rekordbox and I started the export, it took ages since it was a USB 2.0 stick. I walked to my car and put my laptop in the passenger seat, and drove to the studio. 20 min. before my show, it was still exporting and I was like this will not be OK. I chose to stay positive and said, whatever happens, happens. With that attitude at the end of the day, everything fell into its place. After such a day, and usually, no idea what will be played going with the flow and freestyle. For the ones that don't know, with this approach, I'm at my best and my concentration level is higher than usual but also my creativity. The end result? Press play and you will find out. If you like these background stories and would love to see more do let me know, please. Have a great day 🖤 Sous
