Muffled voices are also often heard, and the sound of footsteps are a regular occurrence. The Old White Swan" on Goodramgate certainly has a rich and fascinating history, dating back to the 16th century. As a collection of nine historic buildings, its Grade II listed status adds to its significance as one of the oldest pubs in the city. We also talk about Ye Old White Hart which is the oldest pub in Hull. There are Guy Fawkes lookalikes and some gruesome deaths attributed to the pub. Would this be why the place is haunted?
