The conflict in Yemen has had a devastating impact on the physical and mental health of youths. The ongoing violence, displacement, and lack of access to basic needs have all contributed to a deteriorating health situation. Many youths have experienced malnutrition, injuries, and psychological trauma from constant exposure to violence. The lack of resources and support systems has left many young people vulnerable and in need of urgent assistance.
In this episode, team Tulip discusses how these terrifying experiences and scenes have affected youth's health stability. Through interviews, expert insights, and personal anecdotes, they provide a sobering yet hopeful look at the resilience and challenges faced by Yemeni youth. In the AMAL program, 16 participants formed four teams to produce insightful podcasts on critical issues. Supported by Qisasna, this episode aims to raise awareness and inspire action for mental health support.
