In this episode, we review the Sustainable Waste Management Act which establishes a framework for Waste management. The Act provides for obligations which attract hefty fines in the event of non compliance on private entities, accounting officers of County governments and other public bodies. Kenyans are entitled to the the right to a clean and healthy environment and the Act is a stride in that direction. This is a recommended listen for environmentalists, private sector entities, members of the public and government officers and producer of products and packages that cause a negative impact to the Environment.
