In today’s episode, we spoke with Patrick Lowry. He’s the CEO of Samara Asset Group, an asset manager focusing on Bitcoin and the ecosystem.

Patrick started in the Private Equity world and initially got hooked by the crypto and smart contract world.

He got introduced to Bitcoin by a friend a few years before that but never took it seriously. It all changed when he saw the Lightning Network come alive.

For the first time in Bitcoin’s history, he felt there was a possibility to issue assets on top of Bitcoin, which is why he got interested in digital assets in the first place.

This is when he pivoted and started focussing on supporting the Bitcoin ecosystem through his company, Samara Asset Group. These days, they support companies’ projects or host their events at conferences to get more builders on board.
