While the Spanish Grand Prix often produces processional races, this year's event was anything but, as an action-packed Sunday saw Max Verstappen survive an early spin to win his fourth race of 2022, after Charles Leclerc retired from a comfortable lead with an engine problem.
But while the on-track action was thrilling, the weekend was ruined for many fans by poor logistics and shambolic organisation in and around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. With so many new venues clamouring to join the F1 calendar, will such issues threaten the future of the Spanish Grand Prix?
