14th August, 2024 – This week, our chosen Saint of the Week is St. Maximilian Kolbe, Martyr and Apostle of Consecration to Mary. He is the Patron Saint of Prisoners, those struggling with Drug Addiction, the Pro-Life Movement, and Radio Reporters (8 January 1894 – 14 August 1941).
St. Maximilian Kolbe reminds us that “one single act of love brings a soul back to life.” He followed Jesus by laying down his life for a stranger, a friend, and a brother in Christ.
