According to a newly published study one in three young adults in Britain are addicted to their smartphones and unable to sleep. Four in ten people aged 18 to 30 cannot stay away from screens, however it may not be limited to young people. The coronavirus pandemic has led to the population sleeping more, but the quality of sleep has decreased. For more on this we spoke to Rebecca Crowley of Royal Holloway University about the impact the lockdown had had on the nation’s sleep schedules.
