The province of Ontario will be moving to an HST structure in July of 2010. The current Liberal government cannot really be blamed for making this move, as it is to their benefit, helps businesses, and broadens the provincial tax base all in one fell swoop.
BUT, IT IS NOT IN THE INTEREST OF THE TAXPAYER! YOU WILL BE GETTING SCREWED SO HARD AND FAST BY THIS BLATANT CASH GRAB IN THE NEAR FUTURE YOUR HEAD WILL SWIM!
Long time listeners will know I have no leanings towards one political party. The Provincial Liberals, Conservative, and even New Democratic Parties are all playing a role in this disaster. We take them all to task. We call upon you to think about the effect the terrible HST will have on you, and make your voice heard!
