Rachann talks with Jackie Coldsmith of Tierra Blooms Flower Farm in Taneytown about her business and how she got there. After studying environmental science at Hood College, Jackie traveled to Central America to study forest ecology and was introduced to subsistence culture. Inspired by her travels, she started growing produce to sell at local farmer's markets, then switched to growing and selling cut flowers.
