Denise Lajimodiere is an Ojibwe poet and the author of Stringing Rosaries (North Dakota State University Press, 2019). She is among the founders of the National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition. She lives on the Turtle Mountain Reservation, in North Dakota. In 2023, she was appointed poet laureate of North Dakota, 2023 - 2025.
