Rampa News guest is Robert Holden, New York City Councilman representing District 30, including Maspeth, Ridgewood, Glendale, Middle Village, Woodhaven and Woodside.
In conversation with Monika Adamski, Robert Holden sums up year 2019, and talks about plans for 2020.
We start off with a proposed redesign of the bus network in Queens and what community input can be. Councilman also confirms, there is a study to be conducted about possible subway line connecting Bay Ridge with Astoria, through Middle Village.
Councilman gives and update on the grade fraud investigations, as well as criminal justice reform.
The next topic is homeless situation – Councilman talks about the best scenarios on how to help the homeless, and he also evaluates Mayor Bill de Blasio’s actions in this topic.
2020 is a census year. Councilman explains why everybody should participate, and what are the risks if we choose not to. Also, 2020 is an election year, and councilman encourages to vote – he also presents his stance on non-citizens, holding NY Driver’s Licenses voting.
