Many aspects of the Black experience like hairstyles, clothing, and vernacular are politicized inside and outside of the workplace. The rich culture of Black people has widely come into conflict with what dominate groups consider to be "professional." Jenny Joseph-Hayle and JAKE Small discuss what their experiences have been navigating various professional worlds of work with locs and natural hair. We hope that this episode gives voice to the diverse experiences within the Black community and further unites our efforts against anti-Black racism and prejudice.
