Welcome to the first episode of my new podcast, Rantz n Raves! Formerly The MANA Show, I started podcasting in 2015 promoting local musicians and artists. In 2017, I rebranded my show with a new name and website.
In this episode I interviewed Sacramento Artist & Activist Xochitl (So-chee) while at the Mill in downtown Sacramento, CA. in Sacramento, CA . We discuss her success with making a living as a musician, her role as an activist in her community (i.e. with Girls Rock Sacramento and the art of thrifting clothing), all while dodging a neighborhood cat (yes, the meow kind) who insisted on being in the video. A very, very busy musician making it work!
