Jen Browne is back to discuss upcoming fall events for the Center for Literary Arts. The One Act Play festival returns to the Palace for it's 8th season September 30, 2017 at 7pm. Playwrights from all over the world submitted work and the winners have been announced.. do not miss this event. Purchase your tickets at Main Street Books in Frostburg, Allegany Arts Council, and CLA.

The Fall Reading Series Starts this September 19th. All of the reading series will be held at 7:30pm at the Lyric Theatre 20 E. Main Street Frostburg that is free and open to the public. This series features Charley Henley, Chauna Craig, and Robert Earl Price.

Coffee with the Writer an informal discussion with writers with coffee and pastries with writers from 10-12pm on the first Saturday of each month with Frank Senese and Barry Weinberg in October 7 and November 4; drink hot Clatter Coffee and eat the sweet treats from Lorenzo's

Stop into the CLA they are open Monday and Friday from 12-6pm Wednesday 12-2:30pm Saturday 9-4pm
