When things go wrong (Bathsheba is pregnant), David schemes to cover the affair, ultimately leading to the murder of Bathsheba's husband Uriah. We are no different. When tempted by sin we can give in to it, or we can turn away. If we give in to the sin, we can repent and turn away or we can continue down the slippery road of no return. The choice is ours, and how we respond defines how we truly place our faith and trust in God. Red Door is an Anglican Church in Melbourne, Australia.
