Born in Manhattan, Phil Feit started listening to music from the mid 1960's and onward, being drawn to the works of Jimi Hendrix, Cream and Mountain and gravitated towards the bass guitar thanks to Jack Bruce. His first major affilation was with the Brooklyn based hard rock band RIOT. He wrote and recorded for the band's debut album "ROCK CITY". He then joined the BILLY IDOL BAND in the early 1980's and played on Billy Idol's debut solo album, "BILLY IDOL" which includes the singles "HOT IN THE CITY" & "WHITE WEDDING". He toured worldwide in support of that album and performed on showcase television series such as Solid Gold and American Bandstand. From there, he recorded three albums and toured with ADAM BOMB before joining JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS on THE HIT LIST TOUR and recorded "NOTORIOUS" which features the singles "BACKLASH" & "DON'T SURRENDER".
