Just a quick heads up, Todd has moved into a music house in Austin and the other housemates started having band practice on our usual recording night, so there's some definite start and stop to this episode as well as random noises in the background that you'll hear that include muffled band noise and Todd rocking back in forth in his hammock once he moved to the back yard. All the names that aren't censored were made up for jokes during the podcast and not actual people that attended speed dating. Also, I had some beers before upload and wiring this description. -Kuykendall This week the gang talk about Lauren and Kuykendall going speed dating (WHICH IS STILL A FUCKING THING!!!!) and all the interesting characters that joined them. Kuykendall busts out a brand new way to intro that's Deja Entendu, Mitch and Kuyk can't pronounce Laos properly, Lauren actually approves of her into for once, Brand New topped the Billboard charts with an album that received zero press and no singles released before the album just so you know, Mitchell tells again about how his gastrointestinal distress rears its smelly head at the worst time, the Rick Flare strut makes another appearance, does mutual crop dusting make for a solid relationship foundation? Killswitch Engage is always a good time, SPEED DATING STILL EXISTS, we're all SO busy, Mitch hijacks the story, there aren't enough ska themed wine bars in Dallas, Kuykendall's skin might as well be denim, Todd tells half the "REAL BUSY" story, we revisit Halloweens at the SFA for a bit, Todd talks about old school chess computer games, Kuyk makes a KILLER Rambo reference, Mitch mistakes speed dating for a casual orgy, how would you even spell boofoo? Todd has the best house parties, subtle future episode hint, Mitch was kinda right, foreshadowing, khakis come in all shapes and sizes, shins covered means bidness, the fish shirt slays ass man, random Native American reference diatribe, Burning Man is lame, layouts are hard; sarcasm is harder, people watching is dope, sausage party, more future episode hinting, wine and social awkwardness both get better with time, denim is the best cougar hunting camouflage, Todd doubts his masterful linguistic skills, Kuykendall is such a venereal man, epic Beastie Boys New Style reference, Kuykendall fucks up the lyrics to one of his favorite band's songs so bad that we can't even layer the song to the reference, pre-made ice breakers aren't any less awkward, quick prerecorded synopsis that unfortunately rehashes a lot of previously mentioned points, truckyard, Kuyk is good at his job but not really, Todd's stream of consciousness is hilariously entertaining, HORSE CROSSFIT, Bojack is a good friend of mine, band practice bleeds through, Mitch is incapable of using the word "average," East Texas tries as hard as possible to suck you back in, band practice gets obnoxious and Todd moves outside, Lauren knows that we would know if she phoned it in, mane and tail gets the guys going, #2 is the reigning queen for worst of all, disco ball girl, Lauren gets awkward around awkward people and it's awkward, apparently no one knows how to get hit on, Lauren won't go on a blind date for content, numbers are hard, genocide is still a real thing, Kuykendall and Philly Cheese Steaks are better anyways, boobie estimates are not appreciated, Kuykendall doesn't understand how foreign people act, strippers can walk in heels, foreign people rock the shit out of some heels, prostitutes can DEFINITELY walk in heels, sisters will steal your wallet, Kuykendall only lasts 5 minutes, MORE foreshadowing for future episodes, Kuyk isn't your usual Dallas guy or something, how does one make their own rules while interacting with a dental hygienist? Two people that are half Polish can be more and less Polish than each other, Kuykendall subconsciously does an eastern European accent, beard watching may be a legitimate pastime. 4K CHARACTER LIMITS ARE A REAL THING!
