3rd September 2017 AM - Preacher: Jim de Witte - Bible Passage: Psalm 127 - Lego is one of those universally loved around the world, and by all ages. They are simple building blocks in a variety of shapes and colours, but with a little creativity and imagination they can be put together in unlimited combinations to create masterpieces. They are a great metaphor for each of us in our families, and in the church. Lego bricks are made for connecting. Without connecting they would be just a box of bricks bumping up against each other. It is the same in families and with the church. We need to connect, otherwise we are just people bumping into each other. Once we connect the pieces can be put into unlimited configurations. They can be beautiful, interesting, creative, fun, educational and maybe even useful. This Father's Day we will be looking at how we connect as families and the beauty of it, especially when that connection is grounded on the Lord who builds the house. And if we follow God's instruction we can be used to create and do incredible things. Let's build together this Sunday.
