In the face of adversity, the Lord teaches us to pray for protection and for the salvation of those who mistreat us.

  • Prayer for Protection (vv. 2-4)

  • Confidence in the Lord (v. 3)

  • Hearts of Love (vv. 1, 5)

Monday—Is it overwhelming at all to you how much 1 and 2 Thessalonians talk about adversity that should expect to face? Why? How are you tempted to respond to hard times?
