Godly wisdom teaches us to recognize God’s love in his discipline and to give thanks for it.

  • Consider the Steadfast Love of the Lord (vv. 1-3, 43)

  • God’s Love Demonstrated (vv. 4-32)

  • God’s Love Embodied (vv. 8, 15, 21, 31; cf. John 1:14)

  • Walking in Wisdom (vv. 33-43)

Wednesday—What are some ways that Jesus embodied the language from Psalm 107? What does it mean that he is “God’s love embodied”? Read John 1:14.

Thursday—Read Psalm 107:38. Why is important to point out that all the blessings listed in this psalm are God’s? How can this help when you think there is no way God could love you when your stuck in sin?

Friday—What does it mean to “walk in wisdom”? Read 1 Corinthians 1:20-25. What are some ways that God’s wisdom is different than the world’s wisdom? How does this change the way you see the world?
