In one of the most important chapters of all Scripture, Paul declares, defends, and describes the Resurrection of Believers from the Dead in 1 Corinthians 15.--In verses 1-11, Paul declares the reality of the Gospel of Christ because it is anchored in the reality of the bodily resurrection of Christ. And this is important because, as the rest of the chapter explains, Christ is the firstfruit and prototype for all He came to save. If Christ rose bodily from the dead, then it is guaranteed that those who are in Christ will be bodily raised from the dead.--So, Paul, in an effort to begin his argument for the resurrection at a point on which the Corinthians would agree, shows the Gospel Declared Again -vv1-2-, the Gospel Defined Acutely -vv3-8-, and the Gospel Divinely Applied -vv9-11-.-SERIES 1 OF 3
