    God is STILL GOD.

(1 Peter 4:12-13) (NLT) 12Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you.

(Psalm 46:10)(NIV) He says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

(Isaiah 55:8-9)(NIV) 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

    God is SPEAKING LOUDLY.

(Psalm 18:6)(NLT) But in my distress I cried out to the LORD; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.
(Jeremiah 29:13)(NIV) You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

    God is STILL LOVE.

(1 John 4:8)(NIV) Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

(Romans 5:8)(NLT) But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

(Ephesians 3:17-19) (NIV) 17And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

(Romans 8:38-39) (NLT) 38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.


    God is STILL THERE.

(Psalm 23) (NLT) 1The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.

2He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.

3He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. 4Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid,

for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

5You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. 6Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.

(Psalm 139:7-12) (NLT) 7I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! 8If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. 9If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, 10even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. 11I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night—12but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you.

    God is STILL WORKING.

(Romans 8:28)(NIV) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

(Philippians 1:6)(NLT) And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

    God is GROWING US.

(James 1:2-4) (NLT) 2Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

(1 Peter 1:7)(NLT) These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold--though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

    God is GLORIFYING HIMSELF.

(1 Peter 4:12-13) (NLT) 12Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. 13Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.

(John 9:1-3) (NIV) 1As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.
