Heather's Dad died suddenly, sort of, at the age of 57. Shortly after she moved across the country, he develop severe pain in his back and legs. It progressively got worst until he was bedridden. Heather's Dad had a sudden decline in health when she returned home to visit and when admitted to hospital had a massive stroke. He was admitted into a long term care facility where he declined rapidly, but made what they thought was a recovery. Then suddenly he was gone. Heather has been on a journey of discovery, leaving her corporate job to process the grief and honour her truck driving Dad by hitting the open road.
