If you’re queer or trans looking to either travel to or relocate to an LGBTQ+ friendly state or city, this episode is for you! I sit down with John and David of the Debt Free Guys blog and Queer Money podcast to dive into the recent research they’ve done on LGBTQ+ friendly locations and a HUGE deep dive into how anti-LGBTQ+ legislation is being funded (and by who) 👀

Due to the 530 anti-trans bills that have been introduced since last year and the 491 anti-LGBTQ+ bills that were introduced this year alone, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to be safe and exist publicly as queer or trans. This episode helps navigate that as well as digs into how these bills are even being funded. John & David bring some mind-blowing research to the table in this episode and it was such an honor for them to come on the show!

** Regardless of where you live, if your employer is discriminating against you for being queer or trans, you’re protected under federal law. If you feel like you’ve been treated unfairly at work because of being queer or trans, file a charge with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

David and John are husbands living their fabulous life while helping other gay men who also want to live an amazing life, without sacrificing their financial security. With their website Debt Free Guys, their Queer Money™ podcast, and several tools and resources, they help you live fabulously, not fabulously broke.
