Friends! I am running in the local elections on June 7th to win a seat for Howth/Malahide on Fingal County Council. If you live in the area, or you know people who live in the area, please share this video and help me get voted in! I am a person who strives for excellence, integrity and consciousness in all things, so if elected I will devote myself to raising the bar on local government and radically improving the well-being of the communities of Fingal. But beyond this, I seek to gain the position of Councillor so as to boost my voice and help me in my upcoming run for a seat in the Dáil, by adding legitimacy and opening doors to speak to people of influence in my quest to raise awareness and stimulate debate about the elephants in the Dáil: the imperative necessity of free speech, fair borders, full sovereignty. Locally, issues on my radar are: 1) preserving the traditional village feel of Howth, i.e. not turning every other building into a high-rise; 2) empowering locals by actively seeking out locals’ views and ensuring these are heard in the Council chamber; 3) making the transport experience more beautiful and organised (taking pressure off parking and traffic); 4) more supports for mothers (get creative to help boost creche availability, more mothers groups); 5) an awareness-raising campaign in schools to address the entrenched littering epidemic, and organising periodic nature walks to clean up such natural spaces as the Hill of Howth. If any or all of this sounds worth making a reality, please do whatever little or big part you can to get votes beside my name on June 7th! Go raibh míle maith agaibh, gach beannacht!
